February 10-12th, 2012, don’t miss a weekend dedicated exclusively to unleashing Boston's entrepreneurial student talent. The StartUp Scramble University Open is a high-intensity, hands-on learning lab. You do not need to come armed with killer startup ideas (although it's great if you do), just be prepared to dig-in and scramble the lines between real-world experience and school.

At the StartUp Scramble, you'll prototype new ventures, attend rapid skill-building sessions (business, legal, and tech), and hear founders' startup war stories. Also, find new ways to leverage your student status to launch your startup ideas and connect with internship and job opportunities. Be sure to plan to stay the entire weekend.

BONUS: Attendees receive 3 months of online finance training from the industry leader Wall Street Prep (a $40 value #win) and access to Goodwin Proctor's legal resource hub for startups (#doublewin).

SIGN-UP & VENUE

The StartUp Scramble^TM University Open takes place February 10-12th, 2012 and is open to Boston's student startup community: Full-time students currently enrolled in accredited college or university programs within the greater Boston area. Register asap. It's going to be action-packed and space is limited.

Both undergraduate and graduate students (over 18 years old) across all disciplines, majors, backgrounds, schools, interests, and skills are welcome to register. Student ID's are always checked at the door. Ticket purchases are non-refundable. Please be sure to double-check your calendar and read the Terms and Conditions waiver carefully prior to confirming your registration.

YOUR HOST...

Stephen Douglass Young Impact's Stephen Douglass is known for organizing impromptu breakdance battles and his masterful ability to focus teams to get amazing work done in high-pressure situations. Stephen's engaging, fun-loving, and brutally straight-forward facilitation style has been referred to as delicious "secret sauce."

Stephen launched a youth center outside of Scranton, PA (yes, The Office) at 16 with a group of rogue teens. He sought to curb underage drinking in the community after his friend died in an underage drunk driving accident. Since then, he's founded multiple startups, worked in investment banking and distressed private equity, and consulted for a number of for- and non-profits. Stephen continues to advise students and student ventures within the Young Impact network, host StartUp Scrambles, and rabble-rouse as a speaker and consultant across campuses and companies.

Previously, Stephen was captain of a nationally-ranked NCAA gymnastics team. He enjoys being coerced into flipping for crowds of rowdy Scramblers. After living on the road for the better part of a year, he's found a new home at MassChallenge courtesy of Babson's Blank Center and attends Babson's MBA program.
